That perspective has shaped a 20+ year career spanning clinical pharmacy, healthcare operations, venture investing, product development, and enterprise AI. Today, as Executive Director of New Product Development at UNC Health, I lead the design of practical AI solutions that simplify complex operations, reduce unnecessary human effort, and deliver measurable results at enterprise scale. My perspective was formed on the front lines of healthcare. Beginning his career as a clinical pharmacist, he experienced firsthand how fragmented workflows and administrative burden consume time, energy, and attention across healthcare systems. Rather than accepting inefficiency as inevitable, I developed a deep interest in how systems actually workand how they could be redesigned using technology, data, and cross-functional collaboration. That curiosity evolved into a career focused on operational transformation through technology. Across my career, I have consistently operated at the intersection of innovation and execution. He has evaluated more than $36M in healthcare startup investments, co-founded a technology company, led a graduate innovation program bringing together pharmacy and software engineering students to build new products, and directed enterprise teams responsible for AI-powered applications supporting more than $2.25B in annual operational workflows. My work has driven millions in measurable savings and revenue impact, proving that meaningful transformation comes not from technology alone, but from rethinking how work is structured. Today, I am focused on helping organizations prepare for the next era of work.
